But as time went on, she spoke about her time in the White House, even getting choked up at one point saying that it wasn’t going to be “OK.” Even more, it would be worse if Vice President Mike Pence took over. The disadvantage of this particular season was that everybody knew so much about you coming in,” she tells Us. And so I think I’m just going to spend as much time with my family and try to walk the beach and just enjoy life. And I look forward to getting to know her outside the house.“And I think because they only knew of my persona that I felt that once they got to know the real me that they would be more open to getting to know me and not pre-judging me based on a show I did back in 2003.” Up ahead, Manigault plans to relax with her husband, John Allen Newman, until her next move. Just normal life on the outside.” US: Why did you ultimately vote for Marissa Jaret Winokur to win? US: Do you think there was a villain at all this season? I’ve not had a chance to watch any of the episodes but I would have to say I was surprised by how Ross decided to behave on the show. I [hope] I’d have more than four or five days to prepare. A former White House official told CBS News that Manigault Newman has been a problem since before President Trump was inaugurated.
She had personal access to the president and could not be kept out of a White House job, although there was no shortage of efforts to prevent her hiring.
Former White House staffer Omarosa Manigualt — who exited the Trump administration last year — was unveiled as one of the contestants for the CBS reality show “Celebrity Big Brother” in a promo aired by the network during the Grammy Awards.
A veteran of reality shows, Manigault appeared on the first season of NBC’s “The Apprentice” with Donald Trump, and then returned for “Celebrity Apprentice,” among others.

Manigault Newman, who had a somewhat tumultuous tenure in the White House, was fired by Kelly on Tuesday, Garrett reports. Newman then found her way to the White House residence, where she tripped the alarms.

The White House announced last week that deputy national security adviser Dina Powell will leave the administration early next year.
And then, there's also the uncertainty about what it is she actually does in the White House.
This impression was cemented in November, when Manigault Newman allowed Elaina Plott, reporting for the Daily Beast, to follow her around for part of her day at the White House.
